Kyoto is an amazing city, there’s so much to see, and we only had a few days. Luckily Kosuke of Kyoto Japan Car Tour took us around for the day and we saw so many great sites just in one day.
He picked us up from our hotel near the Kyoto Station, we started off at the Komiyoin Temple, a very small and not touristy temple with a really nice zen garden. Next we went to the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine to see the torii gates. We had some street food next to the shrine then made our awy to the Kinkaku Temple, the Golden Pavillion. It wasn’t too crowded so we got some great shots then went to the Otaginenbutuji Temple with the 1000 statues, this was an interesting place, and also not crowded. Next stop was the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, really cool place, so many people though. On our way back to the hotel, we stopped at this little coffee shack and had a very nice drink before saying our goodbyes to Kosuke.
If you visit Kyoto, I highly recommend Kosuke’s services, he’s knows so much about everything and how to see it all in the best way. Thanks again Kosuke, you made our stay in Kyoto so memorable!
