I took a video of the very famous autumn leaves at Toji Temple in Kyoto.
Tō-ji was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, as part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto.
The five-storied wooden pagod in the precincts is 54.8 meters high and boasts the highest height in Japan as a wooden tower.
Since it can be seen from the train window of the Shinkansen, it is one of the landmarks in Kyoto.

When you walk through the east gate (Keigamon), which is the reception area for about 30 seconds, you will immediately see the scenery of the thumbnail image of this video.
In the early hours, this shooting spot is in intense competition.
This time it was before closing, so I was able to shoot with plenty of time.
If you have enough time, it is recommended that you slide in just before the gate.
You can avoid the crowd and enjoy without stress.

During the light-up period of Tō-ji Temple, there is a special visit to the auditoriums and special viewing of privately owned cultural properties’ to the general public.
The overwhelming presence of Buddha, designated as a national treasure and an important cultural property, welcomes you.

The national treasure five-storied pagoda and the temple are lit up twice, the autumn leaves light-up and the spring night cherry blossom light-up.

This is a video shot with 4K images quality shooting with SONY FDR-AX60 spatial optical image stabilization and ZHIYUN WEEBILL S stabilizer.

There are no extra audio or BGM in this video.

京都の紅葉で絶対に外せないのが、超有名な観光スポット東寺の紅葉ライトアップです。

東寺は796年に恒武天皇の命により建立された寺院で、平安時代の僧空海ゆかりの寺です。
東寺の建立自体は、平安京の正門にあたる羅城門から見て、東と西にそれぞれ東寺と西寺を建立した8世紀末にさかのぼります（西寺はその後に衰退し現存しません）。

境内にある五十塔は高さ54.8メートルと、木造の塔として日本一の高さを誇ります。
新幹線の車窓からも見えるので、京都のランドマークの一つともなっています。
東寺は1994年に古代京都の歴史的建造物の一部としてユネスコの世界遺産にも指定されました。

拝観受付となる東門（慶賀門）をくぐり30秒ほど歩くと、さっそくこの動画のサムネ画像の風景が目に飛び込んできます。
早い時間帯はこの撮影スポットは激しい場所の取り合いが繰り広げられています。
今回は閉門前だったので余裕を持って撮影することができました。
もし時間に余裕がある方なら、閉門の少し前の時間に滑り込むのがオススメです。
混雑を避けられてストレスなく楽しめます。

東寺のライトアップでは金堂・講堂も夜間特別拝観も実施され、国宝や重要文化財に指定されている圧倒的な存在感の仏様が迎えてくれるのでこちらも必見です。
国宝の五重塔や金堂などがライトアップされるのは、秋の紅葉ライトアップと春の夜桜ライトアップの2回です。
