Short report of my first visit to Japan in January 2019. As a newbie to Japan, I tried to cram all highlights of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto in one trip of about 10 days. I’ve been using the Hokuriku trail of the bullet-train connecting the three major cities through the North. My trip included sightseeing, cycling and lots of food-tasting!
Tokyo: Senso-ji Temple, Insider Ramen Tour, West-side Cycling Tour (Suginami), Mandarake Shops (Nakano), Shibuya Crossing, Hokuriku Shinkansen (to Osaka).
Osaka: Kuromon Market Food Tour, Osaka Castle, Local Izakaya Tour, Day Tour to Nara (Todai-ji Temple).
Kyoto: Fushimi Inari-taisha, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Heian Shrine, Gyoza Bar.
Yudanaka: Ryokan Traditional Guesthouse, Traditional Onsen Experience, Jigokudani Monkey Park (Snow Monkey Hill) .
Enoshima Peninsula: Observation Deck, Beachside.
Osaka: Kuromon Market Food Tour, Osaka Castle, Local Izakaya Tour, Day Tour to Nara (Todai-ji Temple).
Kyoto: Fushimi Inari-taisha, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Heian Shrine, Gyoza Bar.
Yudanaka: Ryokan Traditional Guesthouse, Traditional Onsen Experience, Jigokudani Monkey Park (Snow Monkey Hill) .
